We are looking to connect with experienced Workday Functional Leads available for contract work across one or more of the following module areas: Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent, or Recruiting. This is a hands-on delivery role sitting at the intersection of business requirements and Workday configuration. If you've led a functional module stream on a Workday implementation and are available for contract work, we'd like to connect.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead functional design and configuration for one or more Workday modules through all phases of implementation
- Facilitate requirements and design sessions with business SMEs and HR stakeholders
- Own configuration workbooks, functional design documents, and decision logs for your module area
- Coordinate with the Core HCM Lead and other functional leads to ensure cross-module alignment
- Develop test scenarios and lead testing activities for your module including SIT, parallel runs, and UAT
- Manage and resolve functional issues, escalating to program leadership where appropriate
- Provide guidance and direction to junior functional analysts and business SMEs
- Support training planning, knowledge transfer, and post go-live stabilization activities

What We're Looking For

- 4+ years of Workday functional experience with hands-on configuration in at least one of: Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent, or Recruiting




- At least one full-cycle Workday implementation as a functional lead or senior functional analyst
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into Workday configuration and document decisions clearly
- Experience working alongside SI partners and managing competing stakeholder priorities
- Workday module certification in your area of specialization is an asset
- Experience with complex, multi-population organizations (unionized, multi-jurisdiction, or large-scale) is preferred
