Our client is a leading real estate services company with offices worldwide. With a busy construction management division securing new work in the corporate interiors space, they are looking to add experienced interiors and TI Project Managers to join this exciting team.

The Construction Project Manager plans and supervises the end-to-end delivery of assigned HVAC Mechanical Retrofit / Design-Build Projects and ensures successful completion on time within scope and budget. At this position level, projects are typical of moderate complexity, risk, and exposure.

For the assigned projects:

- Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects. In collaboration with project stakeholders, defines project scope, deliverables, and requirements.

- Develops and implements project plans.

- Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.

- Identifies project risks and develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans.

- Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensure timely completion.

- Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion.

- Communicates project status to relevant stakeholders.

- Overall responsibility for Project Site supervision and construction activities.

- Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental,



and health and safety requirements.

- Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients.

- Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements

- Possess 1-2 years of project engineering experience in the field of mechanical building services.

- Construction or similar experience.

- Ability to travel West and North of the GTA

- Project management aptitude – ability and experience in delivering projects on-time, on-budget, within specifications, and in-compliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.

- Project Budget management – proven ability and experience in developing and managing budgets.

- Project risk mitigation and management – proven ability and experience in mitigating and managing project risks.

- Advanced working knowledge of the provincial building code, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards.

Licenses and/or Skilled Accreditation

- Valid Driver’s License

One or more of the following would be considered an asset:

- P.Eng. Mechanical Engineering (or be able to qualify within one year.)

- Project Management Institute Accreditation or in progress.

- LEED certification or in progress

- Engineer in training
