**Job Title: Sander Operator**
**Job Description**
The Sander Operator is responsible for pre-sanding parts to meet quality standards before they advance to final sanding.

Key duties include prioritizing items with Non-Conforming Action (NCA) forms over standard production to keep critical jobs moving.

This role requires careful quality tracking, including obtaining exit inspection sign-offs or completing NCA documentation for any defective parts before moving them down the line.

They will be sanding with a Heesemann sander, small hand sanders, and razor knives.
**Responsibilities**
Pre-sand parts to meet quality standards.

Prioritize items with Non-Conforming Action (NCA) forms over standard production.

Ensure critical jobs continue to progress.

Track quality carefully and obtain exit inspection sign-offs.

Complete NCA documentation for any defective parts.

Utilize Heesemann sander, small hand sanders, and razor knives in sanding operations.
**Essential Skills**
Experience with sanding (machine and hand).

Experience with hand and basic power tools such as grinders and sanders.

Skill in documentation and inspection.

Material handling and general production experience.

Ability to use a pallet jack.

Mechanically inclined.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
