Empower and engage communities as a Bilingual Community Development Coordinator in Orléans-Cumberland. Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance well-being and inspire collective action.
As an experienced bilingual leader, you will work to strengthen community initiatives, focusing on social justice and the unique needs of residents. This role involves facilitating community networks, conducting needs assessments, and advocating for sustainable solutions to improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor emerging community issues in Orléans-Cumberland
• Conduct needs assessments to shape CRCOC's priorities
• Build relationships with residents, groups, and stakeholders
• Facilitate coalitions that promote civic engagement
• Design and evaluate workshops and community activities
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
• 5 to 7 years of community services experience
• Bilingual communication skills in French and English
• Experience in community advocacy and program evaluation
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
