**Position Description**
The Licensed Plumber
is responsible for performing all or part of the following duties for the Centre for Research and Learning Tower (CRL) depending on the need of the job and as directed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
**Shifts: working Monday to Friday, 8.00 am- 4.00 pm**
Although this posting indicates an initial area of assignment and shift, the Hospital reserves the right to assign to other areas of assignment and shifts as deemed necessary.




**Here's what you'll get to do**
Utilization of all trade related tools, procedures and cutting openings for piping.

Installation, repair and replacement of pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures
Maintaining the heating, potable water, special water, medical gases, suction, medical air, compressed air and drainage systems of the hospital
Inspection, adjustment and verify that equipment is operating to specifications and be assigned to our preventative maintenance program.
**Here's what you'll need**
Graduate from a recognized plumbing apprentice program or equivalent education and experience.

Must hold a Certificate of Qualification.

Five years institutional or industrial related experience preferably in a health care environment.

Solid knowledge of Plumbing equipment.

Ability to work as a member of a team.

Positive communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated fluency, both verbal and written, in English.

Good problem-solving abilities and flexibility.
A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion.
LEED/EBOM Certification and/or training considered an asset.

Steamfitter/Pipefitter will be an asset.
