**Position Description**
We are looking for a qualified individual to work in a stem cell lab in a cutting-edge research environment.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator and/or Lab Manager, the Research Assistant is responsible for applying straightforward technical knowledge and skills to perform well-defined,



routine and/or repetitive tests, experiments or procedures.
**Here is What You Will Get To Do:**
Perform routine physical, chemical and biological lab procedures.

Prepare media, solutions, reagents, sections and slides, and do routine assays following prescribed methods.

Be responsible for accuracy of techniques, using established policies and procedures to resolve routine problems.

Some animal work, including weaning litters, general health checks, and genotyping.
**Here's What You'll Need:**
The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree.

Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skill, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.

Experience maintaining Glioblastoma stem cells in culture, western blotting, bioluminescence imaging (BLI) and previous animal handling experience is necessary.

Prior experience with neural stem cell differentiation protocols or brain tumor models (e.g., glioblastoma stem-like cells) is considered an advantage.

Prior experience with Incucyte use is considered an advantage.

Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion objectives.
