**Job Purpose**
Our Burnaby Branch is looking for a Shop Mechanic who specializes in servicing and repairing diesel-driven pumps, diesel generators, electric submersible pumps, electric motors, heaters, and air conditioners.

This is a full-time, shop-based position for a certified Millwright who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in quality work.





This position is Monday to Friday.
**What you will do...**
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and equipment
Service and troubleshoot electric motors and submersible pumps
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Work with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment
Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks
Perform additional duties as required or as assigned
**Conditions of Employment**
Must be a Certified Journeyman Millwright (Red Seal or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with: Diesel-driven pumps and generators
Electric motors, including three-phase systems
Submersible pumps and HVAC systems
Ability to work constructively under pressure
Strong multitasking skills in a rapid-paced environment
Demonstrated initiative and strong organizational skills
Exceptional communication skills with a professional, customer-service-focused attitude
Valid driver’s license




A recent driver’s abstract will be required
On-call rotation: One week per month
