Lead the delivery of complex fuel and petroleum construction projects across Western Canada.
An established and growing construction contractor is seeking an experienced Petroleum Construction Superintendent to oversee the field execution of fuel station new builds, upgrades, and related petroleum infrastructure projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly specialized sector where technical expertise and industry knowledge are in high demand.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience delivering gas station or petroleum construction projects and a strong understanding of underground and above-ground fuel systems, tank installations, piping, and regulatory requirements. While a Petroleum Mechanic certification is considered an asset, it is not required.
What You'll Do
- Lead all on-site construction activities for petroleum and fuel station projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel.
- Manage site safety, quality, scheduling, and project execution.
- Oversee the installation of fuel tanks, fuel lines, dispensers, and associated infrastructure.
- Ensure projects are completed in compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to deliver successful projects from start to finish.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain project documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading the construction of gas stations, petroleum facilities, cardlocks, or similar fuel infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of petroleum construction methods, including underground fuel systems and tank installations.
- Proven leadership experience as a Superintendent or Site Supervisor.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
