We are currently seeking two Senior Business Transformation Consultants to join our Strategy & Innovation team reporting into the Firm's Halifax, Nova Scotia office. However, this role can be fully remote from anywhere in Canada.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Transformation Consultant to join our Strategy & Innovation team, reporting to the Director, Strategy & Innovation. This individual will contribute to firm-wide improvement initiatives and deliver external client-facing process improvement and strategic consulting projects through The Fortified Firm, Stewart McKelvey's business advisory offering for law firms and other professional service organizations.





The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, change management, data analysis, strategy development and implementation, and the practical use of AI-enabled tools. They will be comfortable assessing current-state operations, identifying root causes and opportunities, designing practical solutions, supporting implementation, and helping teams build sustainable practices.

The role will lead and support internal and client-facing process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities include conducting stakeholder discovery, analyzing current-state operations and workflows, identifying root causes and improvement opportunities, and translating complex business challenges into clear recommendations, business cases, project plans, and executive-ready deliverables. The role will facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align priorities, design solutions, and develop future-state processes, including process maps, workflows, SOPs, playbooks, and operational tools.

The Senior Business Transformation Consultant will manage multiple projects from planning through implementation, coordinating resources, timelines, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful outcomes. The role will also apply change management practices to support adoption, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and implementation planning. The successful candidate will support strategy development and execution by helping leaders define priorities, establish measurable objectives, and implement frameworks such as OKRs to drive alignment and accountability.

Additionally, this position will leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve workflows, enhance project delivery, and develop scalable tools and resources. The role will analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, measure impact, and create dashboards, metrics, and decision-support materials. The successful candidate will contribute to building organizational capability by developing reusable methodologies, templates, knowledge assets,



and best practices that support continuous improvement across future initiatives.

What You Bring:

- Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operational excellence, management consulting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, facilitating stakeholder engagement, redesigning business processes, and managing projects from planning through implementation.
- Experience applying Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, or other continuous improvement methodologies, along with practical change management principles.
- Proficiency using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to support research, analysis, documentation, and project delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical deliverables, including process maps, reports, presentations, dashboards, training materials, and implementation plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing business, operational, and financial data.
- Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), CBAP, PMP, Prosci, or Agile/Scrum are considered assets.
- Experience in a consulting or other professional services environment, strategy execution frameworks (e.g., OKRs), visualization and process mapping tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Visio, Miro, or Lucidchart), and delivering client-facing advisory services are considered assets.
