Position Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with A&W; standards while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and works collaboratively with the restaurant team.

Full time and part time positions available.

Duties

- Prepare burgers, chicken, fries, breakfast items, and other menu products according to recipes.
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards.
- Operate grills, fryers, toasters, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
- Monitor food inventory and report shortages.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.




- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy.
- Support team members and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Adaptable availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
