Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP Solution Manager to provide comprehensive functional, technical, and architectural leadership across both SAP sustainment operations and SAP project delivery initiatives with a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in ERP/SAP projects and sustainment, including 4+ years leading large‑scale implementations.

The Senior SAP Solution Manager will operate across a complex and evolving SAP ecosystem that includes SAP Success Factors (Employee Central, Employee Central Benefits, Employee Central Payroll), Workforce Software for Time and Attendance, and upcoming implementation phases involving other SAP Success Factors modules, SAP Concur, and SAP S/4HANA.

Travel Requirements

Travel between various Peel locations may be required.

Responsibilities

- Works closely with ERP program area teams on sustainment and implementation.
- Provide end‑to‑end leadership across SAP functional design, technical architecture, and operational support, ensuring solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and integration standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless data migration, system integration, and business process alignment across SAP S/4HANA, Success Factors modules, and Workforce Software.
- Define and govern enterprise integration architecture across SAP and non‑SAP platforms, including SAP Success Factors, Workforce Software, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Concur, and other enterprise systems.
- Design and oversee modern integration solutions leveraging APIs, middleware, and event‑driven architectures, ensuring robust error handling, monitoring, reconciliation, and auditability.
- Establish and mature IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, aligned with ITIL, including incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
- Provide deep functional expertise across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement, including SAP Success Factors (EC, ECB, ECP), Workforce Software (Time & Attendance), and future‑state Success Factors, S/4HANA and Concur processes.
- Deliver technical leadership across the SAP landscape, including guidance on SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, API design, data replication, identity and access management, transport management, and environment strategy.
- Provide examples outlining where and how these skills and knowledge have been demonstrated.
- Leverage and optimize Service Now, Azure Dev Ops, and SAP4Me for ticket management, workflow automation, and service delivery, including integration with SAP systems and improvement of ticket triage, backlog management, and root cause analysis.
- Strengthen SAP sustainment capabilities by defining governance models, support frameworks, KPIs, and continuous improvement processes to ensure long‑term service stability and performance.




- Ensure operational readiness and supportability of SAP solutions delivered through projects, including documentation, training, monitoring, and transition to sustainment teams.
- Provide solution assurance across project delivery, including participation in design workshops, fit‑gap analysis, testing strategy, cutover planning, and hypercare support.
- Identify and manage cross‑system dependencies, risks, and design gaps, and drive timely resolution of issues and critical decisions.
- Lead governance, risk, and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity standards, privacy regulations, segregation of duties, and audit requirements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to integration, data quality, system security, and operational stability.
- Manage and collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, AMS providers, and internal stakeholders across HR, Finance, Procurement, IT, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Review vendor deliverables, enforce standards, and ensure quality and alignment with enterprise architecture and operational requirements.
- Stay current with SAP S/4HANA and Success Factors innovations and recommend adoption of new features or enhancements that drive business value.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, information technology, or a related field.
- Proof of certification(s) must be submitted.
- Minimum seven (7) years of progressive SAP experience across solution delivery, including both implementation and sustainment, with at least four (4) years providing senior‑level guidance in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP Success Factors, including EC, ECB, and ECP, with hands‑on experience supporting payroll integrations and workforce management systems such as Workforce Software.
- Hands‑on experience implementing, supporting, or architecting SAP Success Factors, SAP S/4HANA Finance, Procurement, SAP Concur, and Workforce Software.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP integrations using contemporary integration patterns and platforms, including APIs, middleware, and SAP integration tools.
- Strong functional expertise in HR and Payroll, with working knowledge or experience in Finance and Procurement processes (e.g., GL, AP/AR, Procure‑to‑Pay).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Concur implementations or solution design is highly desirable.
- Hands‑on experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks aligned with ITIL principles, including incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Practical experience using Service Now, Azure Dev Ops, and SAP4Me for ticket management, workflow automation, and service delivery, including integration with SAP environments.




- Strong technical knowledge of the SAP ecosystem, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, and API‑based integration architectures.
- Experience with enterprise governance and delivery frameworks, including familiarity with SAP Activate, COBIT, or similar methodologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, identity and access management, segregation of duties, audit controls, and data governance within SAP environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver practical, scalable solutions across functional and technical domains.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business‑friendly language for stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience working with vendors, implementation partners, AMS providers, and cross‑functional teams, with the ability to influence outcomes and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery and operational support, ensuring both immediate issue resolution and long‑term solution sustainability.
- Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments is considered an asset.

Mandatory Certifications (Proof Required)

- SAP Certified Application Associate (or equivalent SAP certification)
- PROSCI Change Management Certification

Nice to have Skills & Knowledge

- Experience working in the public sector or highly regulated environments is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting, integrating, or implementing enterprise applications such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP Ariba, Construction Project Management (SPM) solutions, Capital Budget Forecasting (CBF) systems, and Annual Business Budgeting (ABB) platforms is considered a strong asset.

- SAP Certified Associate – SAP Success Factors Employee Central and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Workforce Software Certified Consultant (Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, or related WFS certification)
- ITIL Foundation Certification
