Summary of Responsibilities

- Consistently offer skilled, friendly and engaging service.
- Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards.
- Assist in the preparation and service of all food items for a la carte and or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions.
- Ensure proper labeling, dating and storage of all items in the kitchen.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
- Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the culinary field an asset.
- Understanding of knife use and safety required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced workplace.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
- Can focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.



The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
- For seasonal positions must be available as early as May 1st and ending no earlier than October 31st.
- Depending on each position there could be additional qualifications that are required.
