Freehouse Collective is hiring Service Support (Barbacks, Bussers, Food Runners, etc.) to work in Walrus Pub and Beerhall in downtown Toronto.

Drawing inspiration from the UK, we’ve put a modern spin on what a ‘proper pub’ should be in the 21st century. If you care about food, beer, cocktails, sports, music and also happen to take pride in providing great hospitality, this is where you need to be.

Dedication to technical service is a must. Attention to detail and a sense of urgency are required. An outgoing, engaging personality will also serve you well.

The following experience is essential:

- Maintaining and managing a clean workplace in a high volume restaurant
- Running food and drink to tables (must be able to three plate, must be able to carry a full tray of drinks)
- Confidence in conversing with guests both behind the bar and on the floor
- Changing kegs, pouring beer and wine, as well as a general understanding of navigating a bar
- Ability to balance several tasks at once, supporting several areas of the venue
- Resilience, perseverance and commitment to growth
