As part of the IM/IT Ambulatory department, the Senior Systems Analyst reports directly to the IM/IT Primary Care Manager. This position involves gathering requirements, overseeing testing, and maintaining clinical information management technologies.
Candidates will support the organization’s strategic initiatives while addressing application errors and implementing solutions across various systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders for system improvements
- Gather requirements and evaluate requests for change
- Troubleshoot application issues and assist users promptly
- Develop communications regarding system changes for end users
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with best practices
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Business Analysis, or Health discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in systems analysis or support
- Familiarity with EMRs like Telus Med Access or QHR Accuro
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams to solve issues
