The City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking four permanent part-time Facility Maintenance Operators. Roles involve maintaining community centers and arenas, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting with facility revenue collection. Positions will work up to 24 hours weekly, with varied shifts from September to March.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with operation and maintenance of arenas
• Perform ice re-surfacing and regular maintenance
• Clean washrooms and facility areas consistently
• Help collect and manage facility revenue
• Undertake other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Previous arena operation experience preferred
• Robust mechanical aptitude in equipment maintenance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence required
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
