NET Developer (Contract)

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain Public Safety Canada Secret Level Clearance

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our team supporting a Government of Canada project. This is an in-office role where you’ll collaborate closely with a team lead and two junior developers in a dynamic, hands‑on environment.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and configure software packages following established standards.
- Prepare and execute component and assembly test plans.
- Create system documentation for programs in development or maintenance.
- Define system requirements based on approved functional and technical specifications.
- Monitor application performance and implement runtime improvements.

Must-Have Skills

- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level Clearance .
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework and C# .
- Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server ,



Oracle , and Google BigQuery .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Knowledge of Information Security fundamentals and best practices.
- Familiarity with APIs and integration.
- Understanding of software engineering principles .

Base pay range

CA$30.00/hr - CA$33.00/hr
