ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for the efficient and safe reception of products at restaurants while ensuring proper storage practices and product integrity. Their core responsibilities include managing the delivery process, overseeing product rotation and storage, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This role is essential to maintain quality service, achieve performance goals, and facilitate effective communication between Martin Brower and restaurant teams.Position Type/Duration: 6 months contract to startHourly Rate: approximately 26$/hrA reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license are requiredPosition Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Customer Communication and EducationProfessionally represent Martin Brower to the restaurant through positive interactionsData ManagementSupport meeting MB team KPI's and targets that drive a change in the restaurants and/or internal team behaviorsInternal Team supportCollaborate with Distribution Center leadership teams to determine priorities based on data gathering and observations when in restaurantExecute on MB team support plans inclusive of restaurant inventory practice reviewPre-DeliveryRotate and consolidate all products in each storage location in preparation for new products coming on the deliveryKeep pick-slots full; replenish line and flowracksPlace all product in proper pick-slots, never set product off to the side or outside the assigned temperature zonesProvide a clear travel path from the delivery door to freezer/cooler/dry areasTo ensure proper dock flow, work with restaurant crew team in directing the activities of the put away teamEnsure bun trays, dairy crates & dry pallets are sorted, clean and ready for MB driver pick upDeliverySafely deliver all containers (frozen, refrigerator & dry) into the proper temperature zoneEnsure temperature-controlled product is moved into the appropriate temperature zone immediately (maximum of 10 minutes)



per delivery blueprint to maintain product integrity / ensure food safetyBuns are to be moved directly from the Martin-Brower truck into the restaurant freezerProbe product as required per McDonald's QA guidelines once product is inside the freezer or coolerInspect product for damage & record temperatures and code dates on the invoiceUnder no circumstances is product to be left unattended through the delivery processResolve any receiving issues before the end of delivery processPutawayPerform put away duties: ensuring accurate put away of all productsRotate product in racks before placing newer product into a slotEnsure to receive sign off from restaurant manager on product count/accuracyReturn lighting to prior settings, if needed, then exit and secure the buildingGeneral ResponsibilitiesCheck and evaluate work against quality standardsEnsure work area is always kept cleanOrganize own work to maximize safety and efficiency. Identify and correct potentially unsafe situations and conditionsConduct delivery audit checks at designated restaurantsRestaurant data gathering to better support the needs of the restaurant, gather information on inventory- sizes of fridges, freezers, doors for data gatheringLog diagram validation: determine if any changes have occurred around the truck parking area, i.E. fence- lights- signs, etc.Perform all other related duties as assignedScope of Supervision and AuthorityResponsibilities are performed with minimum supervision and communication from the Restaurant ManagerEnsure the operations follow all Protected Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP)/Good Drivers Practices (GDP) for transport rules and regulationsOther projects or duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, logistics or related field with 0-1+ years' experience in merchandising, stock clerk, customer relations, or a related field OR High School Diploma with 2-3+ years of related experienceMust be able to work in a cold or freezer environmentAble to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 55lbs)Great work ethic, high initiative,
