- Working Address: F-80 Westgate Rd, Campbell River, BC, V9W 1R2, Canada

Compensation & Hours

- Wage: $ /hr (to be negotiated)
- Overtime: 1.5 times regular wage after 8 hrs/day and after 40 hrs/week
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/wk (full‑time)

Job Duties

- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Train staff in preparation,



cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Recruit and hire staff
- Manage kitchen operations

Qualifications

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Several years (3–5) of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Completion of a 3‑year apprenticeship program for cooks.
- Completion of college or other program in cooking.
- Ability to communicate in English is required.
