Network and System Administrator - Work from home

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments.

Job Responsibilities:

- Design, configure, and maintain the company's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and virtual private network (VPN) environments.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and uptime of systems and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain the company's servers, including email, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and policies to ensure the security of the company's network and data.
- Administer and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure the network infrastructure is optimized and secure.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards,



and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, PCI and GDPR.
- Identify and recommend recent hardware and software solutions to meet the changing needs of the organization.

Qualifications Requirements:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in network and systems administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Suite or Google workplace, Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, MacOS operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V, VDI and Citrix.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
- Familiarity with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks.
- Experience with backup technologies like Datto, Veeam, Acronis etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Working hours from 6.00 pm to 3.00 am IST.
