At Polytainers, you’ll be part of a stable, growing organization where your contributions make a real impact.POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Printing Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operator in the Printing Department is responsible for operating a printing machine and packing / unpacking rigid plastic containers and lids. A fully qualified Machine Operator will be skilled in the following key responsibilities areas, however, may only be required to perform one or more of the responsibilities at a given time.POSITION RESPONSIBILITESThe machine operator is responsible for performing job kit verification, line clearance, replacing plates and washing and preparing color headsRun all lid and base presses, this includes all six and eight color pressesPack/unpack boxes according to customer requirementsTake trending tray samplesApply labels and stamp every box without pre-labelingCover other machines for lunch and breaksMonitor product quality, visually inspecting products at the packing station and maintaining the trending trayInspect samples to ensure proper ink coverage, alignment,
