We are looking for a Senior Technology Risk Analyst.What You Will DoDrive consistency across the organization by establishing and maintaining technology risk management governance, technology risk & controls framework and technology & risk management processesProvide extensive subject matter expertise in key technology risk management areas such as information security, operations, IT Resiliency, and technology deliverySupport risk assessment activities, day-to-day management of Issue Register documentation and reporting including tracking, obtaining updates and consolidating remediation progress on self-identified technology issues, and audit findingsProvide assistance reporting and execution of annual Business Continuity Planning (BCP) / Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities as well as oversight and monitor DR activities performed by Line 1A ManagementSupport the review and challenge of exceptions / risk acceptances aligning to enterprise policies and standardsSupport the risk reviews of key initiatives and projectsAssist in preparing business unit / portfolio-based reports and metrics (KRIs, KPIs, etc.) to highlight risks and impacts for management & executive reportingContribute to the evolution of Canada Life’s technology risk management strategy and operating modelProvide guidance to Technology teams in the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of controls that reduce a broad spectrum of technology operational risksAssist in ongoing monitoring of compliance with policies and standards and enforce compliance with policies and standards across all levels of the organizationSupport the Technology Risk & Control identification process across all of Canada Life organizationSupport Line 2 in their review and challenge of 1st line risk processesAssist in providing a holistic view of technology risk across the organizationFoster,
advocate for and strengthen Canada Life’s overall technology risk postureWhat You Will Bring2 to 5 years of experience within the field of technology risk and complianceExcellent business writing and communication skills, with great attention to detailAbility to aggregate and analyze quantitative and qualitative dataAbility to build a robust rapport with business teams and build consensusAbility to manage multiple competing projects and priorities under time pressure without compromising qualityAbility to operate in an entrepreneurial environment - being a self-starter, results-oriented, and highly motivated while being effective in a fast-paced and evolving environmentStrong understanding of technology riskUniversity degree in business or related disciplineAccreditations such as ABCP, CBCP, CBCIThe base salary for this position is between$80,400 - $130,400annually. This represents base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.E. annual bonus, commission etc).
