Team members benefit from a supportive and inclusive workplace that promotes professional growth and offers the opportunity to contribute to transformative projects that shape the future of student services at one of Canada's most prestigious universities.Your opportunity:Under the general supervision of the Manager, Client Engagement and Quality Assurance, the Information Systems Analyst works as part of a team of analysts providing user and product support for enterprise student and curricular systems including ROSI, ROSI Express, Degree Explorer and eMarks. This involves responding to support requests from staff, faculty, and students, delivering training and presentations, and creation and maintenance of system and user documentation and the Student Information Systems website. Information Systems Analysts may participate in development projects with other teams and staff in Student Information Systems.
Your responsibilities will include:Responding to service requests in a timely fashionTroubleshooting issues uncovered by testing or user feedbackCollecting information from clients to assess IT needsAnalyzing and documenting business requirementsAssessing needs and contributing to the development of business systems and processesTraining end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systemsLiaising with technical specialists to resolve end-user issuesAnalyzing and preparing documents required for each project or productEssential Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum five years working in post secondary education.Minimum five years working with or supporting enterprise level student information or student records systems, ROSI preferredExperience with other enterprise student information or curriculum applications (e.G., course management, marks submission, program assessment)Experience with the use of business analysis practices and tools (e.G., MS Excel including Pivot Tables, MS Visio)Demonstrated experience supporting users of business applicationsExperience in training users and producing user documentationStrong communication skills, able to present requirements, concepts and proceduresStrong written communication skillsDemonstrated superior client service skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong analytical skills,
