As a 2nd Cook with LandSea, you will prepare meals, assist in inventory, and maintain a sanitary kitchen environment. Located on a floatel, this role provides a unique culinary experience in a remote setting. To excel, you must possess strong knife skills and organizational abilities while adhering to food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare various meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Set up dining areas and restock during service
• Clean kitchen area after meal service
• Maintain kitchen appliances and ensure proper sanitation
• Report issues to the 1st Cook and assist with inventory
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cook
• Food Safety certification in British Columbia
• Ability to work in a diverse workplace
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• Night shift availability and physical fitness required
