Arsenault Bros. Construction Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a key part in both our Commercial and Development divisions, helping to secure new work, coordinate project execution, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
What You'll Do:
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate projects from pre-construction to completion.
- Gather, submit, track, and file project submittals.
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors.
- Order and coordinate delivery of long lead-time materials.
- Review shop drawings and manage document control.
- Schedule subcontractors and coordinate site activities.
- Facilitate site meetings as required.
- Track project schedules and assist with maintaining budgets.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure responses are communicated effectively.
- Coordinate product and material submissions with clients and consultants.
- Support project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Estimating:
- Prepare estimates for commercial and development projects.
- Complete material take-offs and obtain supplier pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor pricing.
- Coordinate tender invitations and submissions.
- Assist with bid preparation and tender follow-ups.
- Conduct site visits and gather project information for estimating.
- Prepare and price change orders.
- Work closely with Project Managers to submit competitive bids.
- Review, compare, and recommend suppliers and subcontractors.
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and construction-related software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Construction, estimating, project coordination, or project management experience is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field is considered an asset.
