OverviewCommercial Truck Equipment is looking for a Service Coordinator to join its Edmonton Branch team to undertake the broad and diverse set of duties required to support the scheduling, coordination, and administrative functions of a busy service department supporting market-leading work trucks. This is a full-time, permanent role suited to a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in service coordination, work order processing, warranty administration, and customer service within a truck, heavy equipment, or service-driven environment. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating technician schedules, processing work orders and estimates, sourcing parts, managing warranty claims, maintaining repair lists, supporting timecard administration, and acting as a primary point of contact for customers and internal service teams.Employees that have been successful for us have come from broad and varied backgrounds including marine, light automotive, manufacturing, heavy industry, and heavy equipment, but they all share a few common traits: They're curious, accountable, responsible, and independent logical thinkers with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability. Commercial is looking for someone who has the experience to make a smooth transition into this position and hit the ground running. We will consider candidates from all backgrounds and industries.Minimum five (5) years' experience in a Service Coordinator role with invoicing, submitting invoices on customer websites, and dispatching tasks to service teamsExcellent computer skills, specifically intermediate level Excel and experience using web-based applicationsExperience with Spire business management software is an assetExperience in a truck dealership is a major assetPrevious experience in the truck or heavy equipment industry is considered an assetValid Class 5 driver`s license. Experience driving large trucks is an assetDesired Skills and AttributesSuperior written and verbal communications skillsProfessional customer service skills and pleasant phone demeanorExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong organizational and time management skillsDetail oriented and ability to multi-taskSelf-directed with the ability to determine task priority, necessity, etc.Ability to deliver high quality and volumes of work and meet deadlinesReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicTimeline and ApplicationWe have an immediate need for an employee in this role, and applications are reviewed as received.
