About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing support and a secure haven for women and children who have experienced abuse. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization's strategic direction, operational oversight, and financial stewardship. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' leadership experience, with at least 2 years in the Violence Against Women (VAW) sector, and a deep understanding of VAW issues. The Executive Director will be the primary liaison with the Board of Directors, funding partners, and the community, and must have a proven track record in securing grant funding and building collaborative relationships. A servant leader with a commitment to feminist principles, the ideal candidate will ensure the organization's programs and services are delivered with excellence, integrity,



and in compliance with all relevant requirements.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a post-secondary degree in social or human services, with a focus on management or administration in the non-profit sector. The role demands a leader with a strong background in trauma-informed service, experience in community development, and the ability to effectively represent the organization to diverse audiences.
