The Township of Spallumcheen is currently accepting applications for experienced professionals to provide on-call support as a Casual Accounting Clerk . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work periodically—covering staff holidays or assisting the Finance Department during busy periods.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer , the Casual Accounting Clerk provides vital financial support on an as-needed basis. Hours are not guaranteed and depend on organizational needs, but typically fall Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM .

Plus 16% in lieu of benefits , statutory holiday pay, and vacation pay (as per CUPE Local 2709 Article 17)

There are approximately 30 km Gravel roads throughout the community.
Each gravel road will be graded between 2-4 times per year on average.

Fire Smart Signage

Installed in 2022

Fire Smart signage is an important part of the Township's Fire Smart program which consists of educating and sharing information with the community.
