Job Requisition ID #26WD96440Position Overview Autodesk seeks a strong senior data analyst with 3d /AEC design data within the Data Acquisition team, designated with understanding, quantifying and visualizing various design data elements, enrichments and abstracts. These datasets form the basis for data selection and understanding for various AI/ML projects at Autodesk.This role collaborates with Product Managers, Program/Project managers, other Analysts, Platform Architecture, and the Engineering Team to ensure data is well-understood, well-organized, and key insights are highlighted and developed. Communication skills are critical, and you must be comfortable telling a story with data to audiences with different levels of technical knowledge.ResponsibilitiesContent characterization of data; gathering key insights derived from different views and data combinations. This role will emphasize data from architecture, engineering and construction designsPrototype and measure the quality and effectiveness of recent data aggregations and enrichmentsBuild reporting to measure progress in key initiatives and improve accessibility of general insightsLeverage Data Mining techniques and analytics peers in teams around the company to develop new data sources and potential business insightsDocument and organize work to provide transparencyMinimum QualificationsStrong SQL coding skills; comfortable usingit every day. HiveQL or equivalent)Understanding and experience applying statistical methods and data modeling techniquesAbility to distill detailed results into easily digestible insightsExperience working with unstructured dataFamiliarity with 3d and 2d design data in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction space. Specific experience with Autodesk AEC products such as Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3d, or Forma a plusExperience working in Python or R to perform statistical analysis and data visualizationsExperience building dashboards in Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Looker or equivalent)Effective communication and collaboration skills, understanding how to tailor your message to your audienceStrong sense of ownership with a bias for action when challenges ariseAbility to work independently and collaboratively across an organizationDesire to create, investigate and follow best practicesExperience using AI technologies is a plusEagerness to learn and share knowledge with a good attitude!Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $83,000 and $122,100. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
