The Lead Consultant is responsible for leading the client relationship and working with members of the Consulting Team to provide client support on various projects. The incumbent is the lead consultant on engagements of all sizes and is accountable to ensure project objectives are achieved and consistent with organizational service standards. The lead consultant's primary role is the day-to-day management of client projects supervising the work of the Senior and Associate Consultants, as well as the Analyst and other staff assigned to that client. The Lead Consultant is the project leader and the primary technical subject matter expert.



What You’ll be Doing Develop and maintain relationships with several clients to satisfy clients’ needs, reengineer processes and provide solutions and act as the main point of contact within Util-Assist. Prepare, lead and validate outcomes of requirements gathering workshops with clients. Design and document solutions for client engagements in and leverage team capabilities when required. Oversee and direct the activities of the team and ensure that client deliverables are achieved Lead project kick off meetings and establish project governance and reporting. Collaborate with the Project Manager and provide assistance and oversight in managing resources, delegating responsibility, and proactively addressing project problems. Proactively identify and anticipate problems, risks, and issues that require escalation, and identify current opportunities to ensure project success using root cause analysis. Develop, present, and lead project discussions at Steering Committee and/or Executive level meetings. Manage project metrics including data gathering, reporting, trend analysis and key metrics at an executive-level capability. Manage 3rd party vendors assigned to project deliverables. Communicate with C-Suite level utility or vendor personnel regarding project requirements and status.
