Multimatic is looking for candidates currently enrolled in a co-op program related to welding support. You'll monitor welding processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications, assist in preventive maintenance tasks, and support multiple departments. This role emphasizes safety and collaboration, helping you develop an understanding of equipment management and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solve maintenance issues with minimal downtime
• Continuously monitor welding quality during production
• Keep documentation of equipment changes up to date




• Participate in Preventative Maintenance initiatives
• Support the Assembly, Facilities, and Press/Toolroom Departments
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a relevant post-secondary co-op program
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is beneficial
• Basic knowledge of welding processes and mechanical systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of electrical systems is an asset
