As Technical Developer at Westbeach, you'll own the process of translating design intent into production-ready garments across men's and women's apparel, including performance, lifestyle, and outerwear categories. You'll drive fit, construction, and technical execution from concept through production readiness, ensuring every piece meets Westbeach's standards for function, durability, and quality. You'll lead fit sessions, manage factory communication, build and maintain tech packs, and solve construction challenges across complex styles. You'll work closely with the design team, and sourcing partners to balance fit, performance, cost, and timeline without compromising design vision. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and building technically excellent product.What You’ll DoTechnical Development: Own the full development process from concept through production. Create, update, and maintain tech packs including specifications, measurement charts, BOMs, and construction details.Fit Execution: Lead fit sessions and fit approvals. Clearly communicate fit issues, construction adjustments, and recommended through diagrams, fit photos, and documentation.Factory and Vendor Communication: Lead communication with vendors and sample rooms to support sampling, development corrections, and production readiness.Materials and Quality: Review lab dips, fabrics, trims, and testing results to ensure materials meet performance and quality expectations.



Utilize lab testing and wear-testing feedback to refine construction, materials, and durability.Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with sourcing partners to assess risk in construction, materials, and timelines.
