Location: Warwick Township, ON location

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours of Work: 8am – 4:30pm

Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 per annum

Van Bree Infrastructure is a diverse construction company with multiple divisions under its umbrella including Van Bree Sand and Gravel and Choice.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance team in a hybrid role supporting Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Accounts Payable. Being the leader in payroll processing, AP oversight and AR cash collections this role’s purpose is to ensure accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll while supporting the department goals of Financial Stewardship, Daily workflow planning and accomplishing organization goals.

Key Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable

Payroll – 40% (2 days per week)

- Collect, validate,



and process field and office employee timesheets according to the weekly payroll cycle for Union, Non-Union and Salaried employees
- Collaborate with HR onboarding & off-boarding employees, and payroll changes

AP – 30% (1.5 days per week)

- Timely completion & validation of entries into the accounting system to support project and business reporting.
- Manage Vendor communications and escalations
- Prepare disbursements in an electronic payment environment
- Support month process reporting and reconciliations

AR-30% (1.5 days per week)

- Reconciling customer payments and deposits, contributing to cashflow planning
- Support collection communications and escalations

What You Bring

- Superior understanding of project, manufacturing and cost accounting transaction postings & GL analysis
- High degree of role ownership and accountability
- Post-secondary education in Business & Accounting
- Experience working with in ERP Software Platforms
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple priorities while achieving planned outcomes
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel & Word)
- Inherent traits of curiosity, conflict management and emotional intelligence

Physical Demands

- Sitting for extended periods (typically 5–7 hours/day)
- Working at a computer (data entry,



spreadsheets, accounting/payroll systems)
- Maintaining focus on screens for long durations
- Frequent keyboarding and mouse use (data entry, invoice processing, payroll input)
- Repetitive hand/wrist motions that may contribute to strain if not managed ergonomically
- Prolonged screen time requiring:
- Reading financial data, invoices, reports
- Reviewing payroll details for accuracy
- Attention to detail to prevent errors
- Moving within the office to:
- Access printers, filing systems, or colleagues
- Retrieve or organize documents
- Typically light and intermittent
- Handling office materials such as:
- Files, binders, boxes of documents (generally under 10–20 lbs / 4.5–9 kg)
- Filing and organizing paperwork (reaching, bending)

Travel

- Ability to travel within Southwestern Ontario as required to attend both office locations, training and education.
