Clinical Counsellor location: th St., Unit 200, North Battleford, Saskatchewan, S9A 0V7, Canada.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assessment, treatment, crisis intervention and counselling services.
- Individual, group and family counselling.
- Provide referrals and advocate on behalf of clients.
- Develop and implement training programs/workshops for clients and staff if required.
- Prepare and maintain confidential records, reports and files.
- Guide clients with skills and strategies to build self-esteem and confidence.
- Improve the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing of communities and members, while strengthening the traditional health care system.
- Aim to improve the health of First Nations by incorporating First Nations healing and wellness.
- Knowledge of traditional human development and family dynamics.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity of the Cree culture.
