Family Transition Place is seeking a dedicated Youth Educator to lead educational programs in schools. The ideal candidate has a background in social services and specialized training relevant to adolescent development. Key responsibilities include creating engaging activities, collaborating with community partners, and supporting classroom dynamics effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate educational programs promoting healthy relationships
• Create resource materials aligned with program goals




• Research and implement strategies for positive classroom climates
• Collaborate with school staff and community groups
• Provide referrals and support as necessary
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in social services or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of violence against women and children issues
• Experience working with children and youth
• Solid communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
