LandSea is looking for an experienced 2nd Cook to assist the 1st Cook at our camps in Lytton, BC. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience, ideally in remote camp settings. Responsibilities include all food prep, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting kitchen operations during long shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare a variety of meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Set up and maintain salad and breakfast stations
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
• Report any food or equipment issues to the 1st Cook
• Assist with inventory and ordering tasks
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience as a 2nd Cook
• Valuable communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfort with kitchen equipment and knife skills
