As a Package Handler at FedEx, you will be responsible for handling freight, requiring the ability to lift and maneuver heavy packages. It is essential to possess good interpersonal skills and comply with Canadian customs regulations. Your shifts will be from 3 PM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, with demanding lifting requirements throughout each day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Scan and sort packages within the facility
• Complete all basic and recurring training
• Adhere to safety regulations especially for lifting
• Operate within a PC Windows environment
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of FedEx operations and customs regulations
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver 150 lbs packages
• Solid interpersonal communication skills
• Bilingual candidates are preferred if in Quebec
