In this full-time position at Shared Health – Virden Health Centre, the General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist will conduct clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples. Your responsibility includes assisting in general lab projects and maintaining a safe working environment in line with provincial standards. You'll also ensure compliance with quality assurance programs as part of our mission to deliver patient-centered services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples
• Assist in lab projects, including SOPs and chemical inventories




• Maintain a protected and compliant laboratory environment
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance programs
• Collaborate within the lab team and follow protocols
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
• Current registration with CMLTM or eligible for registration
• Previous related experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
