This internship provides hands-on experience in process optimization, problem-solving, and working with cross-functional teams to enhance production operations.Key Responsibilities:Assist in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectivenessSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologiesCollect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify areas for process enhancementsAssist in designing, testing, and implementing process modifications or new production methodsWork with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actionsSupport equipment layout optimization, workflow analysis, and process documentationParticipate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projectsDocument findings and present recommendations to engineering and leadership teams Company Description QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldBasic knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma (preferred, but not required)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
