Be a part of our dynamic team at Performance Auto Group We are currently seeking a Talent Development & Engagement Coordinator to join our Employee Services team on a 12 month Contract. The Talent Development & Engagement Coordinator plays a key support role in executing the initiatives of the Talent Development & Engagement Center of Excellence (COE), which is focused on delivering impactful learning, onboarding, performance, and engagement experiences across the organization. This role ensures the smooth execution of high-impact programs that promote learning, development, and organizational culture. This position creates and manages strategic messaging and communication for both internal and external audiences. and other employee experience eventsSupport planning and delivery of Giving Back initiatives and events in partnership with Employee Services and cross-functional teamsPartner with and coordinate the committee of location-based Engagement Champions to promote engagement initiatives and events across the groupCommunication & Content SupportResponsible for preparing draft content for the monthly employee newsletter and engagement initiativesPerform weekly audit and suggest updates to employee intranet pagesAccountable for editing and formatting presentations and communication materialsMaintain program calendars, invites, and follow-up communicationsCreates compelling and articulate communication that is aligned with the PAG brand and personalityManages all employer branding communication via social media channels (LinkedIn)Produce engaging and effective copy for use on relevant social media platforms and communication channelsPlan and coordinate diversity and inclusion initiatives, including employee programs, external events, speaker series, and outreachChampion culture to promote an inclusive, fun, and performance-driven culture within PAG by implementing opportunities for teams and departments to interactPlan and coordinate all employee-related events, including but not limited to social events, charitable events, and internal career eventsLearning Support & AdministrationTrack learning programs, attendance and feedback surveysFacilitate and support new-hire orientationProvide support in monitoring training completion, all compliance tracking, and performance reviewsAssist with the creation and maintenance of onboarding plans and training guidesParticipate in learning needs discovery and help document findings Special ProjectsProvide support on ad hoc projects related to employee experience and learning initiativesHelp source and compile learning content from internal and external sourcesWhat do you need to succeed?University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or an equivalent combination of education and experience2 to 4 years of experience, with project management, communication, and learning and developmentExcellent administrative skills, including strong capabilities in project management and organization.



Facilitation experience is a significant asset.Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including strong public speaking skills and the capacity to write effectively for both internal and external audiences.Demonstrated experience leveraging the wide use of social media channels for company communicationsProficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms) and cloud-based platformsAbility to think creatively and implement innovative strategiesMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment while effectively managing competing and changing prioritiesFlexibility and adaptability to changing needs and demands with the willingness to work longer hours as circumstances require.Ability to take initiative in the development and completion of assigned projects and dutiesConfident in creating high-quality presentations using Google Slides and AV equipment (e.G., LCD projectors)Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations is highly desirableCreative, detail-oriented, and proactiveAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesA positive, outgoing, and collaborative attitudeHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential informationMust have a valid Ontario G or G2 Driver's License and valuable driving recordWhat's in it for you?Excellent management support and guidanceOpportunities through our Internal career development programDiscount on vehicles, service and parts for you and your familyFree and engaging employee eventsDid we mention we love giving back to our communities?Job Type: Full Time - Temporary (12 month contract)Compensation (expected annual salary): $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
