Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, in office role based in Surrey, BC, responsible for overseeing daily distribution, warehousing, and logistics activities. This role leads operations teams, sets performance expectations, and ensures efficient processes for order fulfillment, inventory control, and delivery scheduling. The Director of Operations manages budgets, monitors KPIs, and uses data to optimize productivity, cost control, and resource allocation. Responsibilities include implementing safety standards, maintaining compliance with regulations,



and driving continuous improvement initiatives across locations. The role collaborates with sales and customer service teams to resolve service issues, enhance customer experience, and support strategic growth plans.
Qualifications

- Strong Operations Management experience, including oversight of distribution, warehousing, and process improvement.
- Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, develop KPIs, and make data-informed decisions.
- Proven Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Budgeting skills, including cost control, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Customer Service orientation, with experience supporting internal and external stakeholders and resolving operational issues.
- Relevant experience in building products, construction supply, or related distribution environments is preferred.
- Post-secondary education in business, operations, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work on-site in Surrey, BC.
