*Job Overview*We are a warm and respectful family in North York seeking a reliable and caring full-time nanny to provide in-home childcare for our children. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and takes pride in creating a secure, nurturing, and structured environment. Private home childcare experience is an asset, and we are looking for someone who can actively engage the children and support their learning and development. This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week.*Main Responsibilities ** Providing care and supervision of children in a safe, creative, and nurturing environment* Supervising and engaging with the children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development* Teaching good manners and appropriate social behaviour, and supporting positive routines* Providing educational support through interactive play, reading, and other games and activities* Assisting the children with daily routines, including dressing, bathing, hygiene, meal times, and nap/rest routines* Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences* Organizing and participating in indoor and outdoor activities, including attending appointments, activities, and classes as needed* Maintaining a clean and organized space for the children,



including tidying up after activities and ensuring safety standards are met* Completing the children’s laundry and light housekeeping duties related to childcare* Communicating regularly with parents regarding the children’s progress, behaviour, routines, and any concerns that may arise*Qualifications** Childcare experience is an asset* Patient, responsible, and dependable* Comfortable working independently in a private household* CPR/First Aid is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
