The Milton Fire-Rescue Department consists of dozens of highly trained, well respected, professional all-career firefighters who respond to emergencies and perform other significant services all around the city. It is accepting applications for excellent, qualified individuals to join this team – including as a Firefighter/Certified - EMT-Advanced (Advanced Emergency Medical Technician).

A Firefighter/Certified - EMT-Advanced will respond to emergency calls to suppress fires as well as to aid people needing medical care. Their responsibilities include doing what they can to protect lives and properties in Milton, controlling and extinguishing fires, performing search and rescue, providing life support to sick and injured people, andmaintainingdepartment apparatus and equipment so that it’s fully ready at a moment’s notice.
