Job DescriptionSupply Chain CoordinatorPermanent roleLocation: BC, CanadaSalary: $58K-$63K based on experienceWe're seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client based in their BC, Canada office. This is a requirement to ensure collaboration with the broader team.This role is suitable for a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multi-tasking without compromising on attention to detail. The ideal candidate is highly organized, effective, and takes initiative as a self-starter, while also being a collaborative team player. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to efficiently problem-solve and adapt to shifting priorities.As a Supply Chain Coordinator, main responsibilities include:ShippingPrepare and execute shipment of product including maintaining shipping records, keeping accurate documentation, and interacting with freight agents for export.Navigating through customs procedures to support resolving issues with export shipments.Ensuring shipping schedule is maintainedMaintaining inventory of shipping suppliesCreating/maintaining shipper-courier relationshipShipping document management (waybills, customs documentation, etc.)ReceivingInspect incoming goods and packages based on written procedures and measurements while adhering to engineering drawingsComplete the Incoming Receiving Checklist as per quality proceduresConversing with vendors and internal quality staff on missing requirements, documents or non-conformancesPurchasingPrepare and execute purchase orders and or service agreements as required while ensuring approval processes strictly followedMonitoring price increases and communicating changes as necessaryResearch, identify and recommend alternate and or future vendors for components and services based on quality, service,
and overall costsReviewing vendor acknowledgements and updating delivery status and expected receipt datesInventory Control including conducting counts as requiredBuilding and maintaining vendor relationships including KPI and performance reviewsWhat You Bring( must have's)A college diploma or supply chain management or equivalent combination of experience and education working with inventory or MRP systemsHigh level of computer literacy, specifically MS OfficeHigh degree of manual dexterityAbility to lift and move heavy boxesWell developed customer service skillsThis will make you stand out:Experience with customs procedures to support resolving issues with export shipmentsExperience in a related positionExperience dealing with couriers and shipping worldwide for exportWhy join :Our client is build of a dynamic team of passionate experts.
