This position provides strategic direction and oversight in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of programs and services provided by the Finance Department. As Director of Finance/Treasurer and member of the City’s Senior Leadership Team, the Director is responsible for organizational leadership and broadly supporting all City programs and services The role provides senior leadership in financial planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, municipal taxation, utility billing, development charges, procurement and fiscal policy, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation, accounting standards, and Council-approved policies.This position provides an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to make a significant contribution to a growing municipality.
