At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

Those in capital projects management at PwC will focus on overseeing and managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, enabling them to be completed on time and within budget. Your work will demonstrate and build on strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate various stakeholders and resources.

- Participate in complex project developments, financings, and transactions in the energy, infrastructure, and mining sectors

- Participate in developing financial models andassistin complex data analysis and modeling including preparing visual representations of data

- Conduct feasibility studies and financial and commercial analysis of projects and companies

- Participateinprojectriskassessments

- Perform independent validation of project data

- Participate in the development of project management processes

- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of project controls

- Participate in writing reports, procurement documents, and/or information memorandums

- Participate in assignments involving post-transaction monitoring and project tracking

- Assistin the preparation of pitch decks, marketing materials, and proposals

- Undertake market research and benchmarking exercises as directed

- Assistin developing work plans, indicativeschedulesand budget estimates

- Assistin developing business opportunities for the Real Assets practice

- Previousexperience (including internships) working in either project finance/M&A; or within an engineering consulting/project management firm would be an asset

- An interest in pursuing a professional designation in finance (CFA, CBV) or in project management (PMP, PQS) would be an asset

- Strongfinancialmodelingskills

- Ability to work on multiple and diverse projects and on projects with tight deadlines

- Ability to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends and problem-solve

- This roledoesn’tsupport completion of the Canadian CPA designation.

The salary range for this position is $41,600 - $69,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
