Central Sask. Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Meat Manager for our Food Store in Humboldt, SK.

What you'll do:

- Lead the Meat Department Team in a manner that demonstrates day-to-day behaviors that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and brand.
- Manage the Meat Department in accordance with the company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards, and overall expectations.
- Recruit, train, develop, coach,



and motivate the Meat Department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.
- Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality and safety standards.
- Perform team performance reviews and action plans for development.
- Manage inventory levels and lead scheduled inventory procedures.
- Develop sales promotion programs to grow the meat business.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, financial and marketing strategies.
- Develop and administer action plans to achieve the desired results of the business plan.
- Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of operational and financial results
- Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

- Must have a minimum 1-3 years experience managing/supervising others.
- Previous retail or meat department experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and the ability to manage computer files efficiently.
- Effective interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
- You are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
