Reports to: Habitat for Humanity Board of DirectorsHours of Employment: 37.5 hours per week, full-time, between the hours of 9 am - 5 pmLocation: Administrative Office at 104 Dawson Road, Guelph, ON, N1H 1A6, with some hybrid flexibilityCompensation: CDN $150,000 - $183,500 per year, to commensurate with experienceOpportunity Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington is looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the affiliate who has passion for the Habitat for Humanity mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide strategic and operational leadership to the organization.Who We Are Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington is an affiliate member of Habitat Canada and associated with Habitat International. The affiliate's mission is to bring together volunteers, donors and investors in partnership with Habitat families to achieve the benefits of home ownership. Our ReStores provide critical support to this mission and our communities. Through the construction of affordable homes, families attain social and financial stability to transform their futures and our community.Role Description As the Chief Executive Officer, you will represent the organization in the community by fostering strong relationships with project partners, investors, government and the community at large. In partnership with the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for determining strategy and, along with your team, be responsible for its execution, operational excellence and the financial success of the organization while promoting and fostering a culture of engagement, trust and respect.Key Responsibilities Strategic and Operational LeadershipIn partnership with the Board of Directors,



lead the execution of the strategic plan which includes a systematic review of achievements and issuesLead the management of the organization's portfolio of projects including the supervision of staff responsible for project development and maintenance, recruitment and support of families, and resource developmentEncourage and support a culture of high performance, inclusivity and accountability within the organizationStakeholder and Community EngagementBuild and maintain productive relationships with the City of Guelph, Centre Wellington Township, County of Wellington, Habitat Canada (including the Ontario Caucus) and the mediaBuild and maintain productive partnerships with local builders, financial institutions and potential housing collaboratorsBuild and maintain donor relationshipsFinance and Risk ManagementOversee the management of the organization's finances in collaboration with the Finance/ Audit committee including oversight, reporting and forecastingExecute a robust risk management and regulatory compliance practiceLead strategic negotiations with stakeholders, partners and vendorsEnsure affiliate remains in compliance with bylaws, rules and regulations, and contractual obligations of its stakeholders andul> Board Relations and GovernanceAdvise and inform the Board in a timely manner of key strategic, financial and operational issuesSupport Board engagement in policy development,
