Pay Band: $38,580 to $50,070 (6 step range)

Job Description

- The Registered Nurse A reports to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing.
- Maintains a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates comprehensive client‑centered care.
- Works as a member of the Nursing Department and performs duties in the Emergency unit.

Experience

- 3 years of acute care nursing, including at least 1 year of recent Emergency nursing experience.

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.

Other Education and Training

- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or other trauma assessment course (desired).




- SANE certification required and must be maintained.
- Adult Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (ASNE) training completion required.
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).

- Demonstrates capability to lead self and shows character.
- Sound clinical judgment skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting.

Knowledge and Abilities

- Ability to operate related equipment and carry out the duties of the position.
