NOTE: more than one role may be filled.As the Analytics & Insights Analyst, you’ll support Corporate Operational Services by turning data into clear, actionable insights and practical tools that support day‑to‑day operations across functions such as BCM, Supply Chain, Safety, Environment, Facilities, and Security. In this role, you will work as part of an established analytics team and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop dashboards and reports, and build low‑code solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision‑making. You will also contribute to maintaining and enhancing performance reporting while building your understanding of business processes and data.Major ResponsibilitiesCollect, validate, cleanse, and analyze data to support operational reporting and decision‑making.Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations.Assist in identifying trends, issues, and improvement opportunities within assigned business areas.Gather and document business requirements for analytics and reporting requests.Support the development and monitoring of performance metrics and KPIs.Provide ad‑hoc analysis in response to operational needs.Design, develop, and maintain low‑code business applications and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.G., Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).Support data preparation and analysis activities using up-to-date analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.Maintain documentation, data definitions, and data quality controls for assigned solutions.Provide user support and guidance for developed reports, dashboards, and applications.Collaborate with team members, stakeholders,
and IT partners to deliver analytics solutions.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.Translate business needs into practical analytics and application solutions.Education RequiredUniversity degree in a related field (e.G., Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics) with 2–4 years of relevant experience; orTechnical diploma in a related field with 4–6 years of relevant experience.Qualifications & ExperienceDemonstrated background in data analysis, reporting, and/or business analytics.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Hands‑on experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.G., Power BI).Proven capability developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).Skilled in documenting business requirements and process workflows.Exposure to modern data platforms (e.G., Microsoft Fabric, lakehouse) is considered an asset.Experience building end‑to‑end solutions (from requirements through to delivery) is considered an asset.CompetenciesApplies established methods and tools to analyze information and solve problems.Communicates clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.Translates analytical findings into clear, audience‑appropriate outputs and insights.Organizes work effectively and manages multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.Collaborates well within a team environment and builds positive working relationships.Benefits: Competitive compensation (Analyst Level B) with current CUPE 2025 rates ranging from $82,426.89 to $103,038.57.
