About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Finance to take on a senior leadership role with a focus on financial stewardship, scalability, and long-term financial health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the five pillars of finance: financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury, internal controls, and compliance. This role is pivotal in strengthening the finance function, improving business performance visibility, and supporting disciplined decision-making in the context of significant growth and acquisitions. The Vice President, Finance will also be expected to lead a team, act as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership, and champion continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Candidates for the Vice President,



Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, with a CPA designation required. The role demands a leader with a strong technical background in financial management, including experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury. Core competencies include strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, and a proven track record in building and leading finance teams. Experience in an asset-intensive industry and with ERP/accounting systems is preferred, particularly with a background in equipment rental, industrial services, construction, or a similar sector. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an MBA or advanced business designation considered an asset, and a history of operating in a multi-provincial or multi-jurisdictional setting within Canada.
